Bariloche, it's a little bit as being in Switzerland. One of the differences is that it is here 25 Degrees Celsius and it snows in Switzerland!
It took me a while to get from El Calafate (...almost the end of the world, I did not go to Ushuaia...) to Bariloche, I went into the bus on Thursday 25 November 4.30 PM and got in Bariloche the next day at 9PM.... So I needed some fresh air and what is a better way to do that then to go up in the air?...
- YES! PARAGLIDING!!!! -
- 30 minutes in the air -
"In case of a loss of oxygen, please place your masks over your faces to hide your terrified expressions from the other passengers."
It was quite warm, however I needed to put my "pulli" on, since it can be a bit fresh up in the air.
If you are wondering what I am holding; it's a piece to put a camera on (for making pictures in the air), unfortunately the other guy I was with got it on his Paraglide trip. However, as you can see, I have made some pretty good pictures as well (holding my own camera in my hands)!
With my aviator shades I look like a real professional.... (Yeah..I wish..haha)
In the picture above, you see the playa bonita in San Carlos de Bariloche. This is where we landed, not in the water, on a little piece of beach! Before landing I was already looking for the grass lawn and was wondering where we were supposed to land.. so can you imagine what I was thinking the seconds before we landed on the little piece of beach! Haha!
And....safely back on the ground again with some sun, beer and a lot of happiness!
